1. How We Use Trackers

The WaecUpgrade platform utilizes advanced tracking technologies, commonly referred to as "Cookies," to maintain a secure, persistent, and encrypted connection between your device and our synchronization engine. Unlike traditional websites which use cookies for advertising or user tracking, our use of trackers is strictly technical and focused on session integrity, cross-border synchronization stability, and network routing efficiency.

Without these tracking tokens, our "Secure Handshake" protocol would be unable to verify that the same authorized user who started the application is the one authorizing the final payment and synchronization trigger. Any disruption to these cookies can lead to "Handshake Fragmentation," which may permanently lock your application in a pending state.

2. Essential Synchronization Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function and cannot be opted out of if you wish to use the grade synchronization service. They are used to:

  • Session Continuity: Maintaining your "Apply" flow state across the complex 7-step process. This ensures that your candidate details, subject selections, and target grades are not lost during the multi-stage handshake.
  • Handshake Authorization: Storing temporary cryptographic keys and "Salt" values required to securely sign the synchronization request before it leaves your browser.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting if a different IP address, browser signature, or device fingerprint attempts to hijack an active synchronization session. This is a critical defense against session hijacking.
  • Gateway Persistence: Ensuring that your payment status is correctly synchronized with your Order ID across our decentralized payment gateways.

3. Analytics & Node Performance Trackers

We use anonymous tracking tokens to monitor the latency and throughput between your local interface and the various decentralized network nodes located across the region. This data contains no personally identifiable information but is essential for optimizing the synchronization path.

This performance data helps our "Traffic Arbiter" route your synchronization request to the fastest available "Mining Node" or "Handshake Relayer" in your specific geographic region, significantly reducing the 14-28 day reflection window for database synchronization.

4. Local Storage & Cryptographic Cache

In addition to cookies, we use the "Local Storage" and "Session Storage" of your browser to cache encrypted fragments of your application. This provides an additional layer of reliability in case of a browser crash or a temporary loss of internet connectivity during the sensitive handshake phase. This cache is cleared automatically once the synchronization reaches "AUTHORIZATION_COMPLETE" status.

5. Managing Your Cookies & The Risks of Deletion

While modern browsers provide the ability to disable or clear cookies, doing so while an application is in progress will IMMEDIATELY BREAK the synchronization handshake. If your session tokens are lost due to cookies being cleared or disabled mid-process, our servers will be unable to reconnect your payment to your Order ID.

DELETING COOKIES DURING AN ACTIVE SYNC SESSION MAY LEAD TO A TOTAL LOSS OF FUNDS AS OUTLINED IN OUR REFUND POLICY.

We strongly recommend using a dedicated, clean browser window (preferably in "Incognito" or "Private" mode) for the entire duration of your WaecUpgrade synchronization session and keeping that window open until you have received your Official Invoice.

6. Third-Party Trackers

WaecUpgrade does not permit third-party advertising cookies, social media trackers, or external analytics scripts (like Google Analytics) on its platform. Our commitment to your privacy is absolute. However, be aware that our integrated crypto-payment gateways (such as Binance or Bybit) may use their own strictly necessary tracking technologies during the "Authorize Gateway" step to facilitate the secure transfer of USDT or Bitcoin.

7. Policy Updates

As the underlying architecture of regional educational databases evolves, we may need to adjust our tracking protocols to maintain compatibility. We reserve the right to modify this Cookie Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current tracking protocol required for grade synchronization.
