1. Data Collection & The Synchronization Context

WaecUpgrade operates in a high-security environment designed to facilitate regional grade synchronization across decentralized network nodes. To perform this service, we must collect and process sensitive personal data that traditional platforms do not require. By using our interface, you consent to the collection and processing of the following data points:

  • Candidate Metadata: This includes your full legal name, index number, year of examination, and the specific regional examination body (e.g., WAEC, JAMB, etc.). We also collect "Original Grade State" to establish a baseline for the synchronization handshake.
  • Identity Verification Data: During the mandatory Virtual Verification Call, we capture high-fidelity video and audio recordings. We also require digital copies of your national identity cards, passports, or driver's licenses. This data is used solely to verify your authorization to request a grade sync and to prevent identity theft.
  • Technical Handshake Logs: We log IP addresses, device signatures, browser fingerprinting data, and ISP metadata. This is used to prevent "handshake spoofing" and to ensure that only authorized devices are initiating database synchronization requests.
  • Contact Information: We store your email address and phone number to provide status updates on the blockchain synchronization progress and to schedule the verification calls.

2. Use of Information & Handshake Routing

Your information is used for one primary purpose: the successful execution of a priority synchronization handshake between WaecUpgrade mirroring servers and regional educational nodes. Your data acts as the "payload" for the encrypted handshake packets. Specifically, we use your data to:

- Authenticate your request within the decentralized network architecture.
- Route synchronization packets to the correct database entries with millisecond precision.
- Conduct the mandatory virtual verification process to confirm your physical identity.
- Provide 24/7 priority support and "Conflict Resolution" during the 14-28 day synchronization window.

Your data is never sold to marketing agencies or used for profiling. However, it is shared with our "Verification Agents" and "Network Auditors" who are located globally and are responsible for ensuring the integrity of the synchronization handshake. These agents are bound by strict non-disclosure agreements.

3. Data Encryption & Storage Protocol

We employ AES-256 military-grade encryption for all data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. During the synchronization process, your candidate details are "salted" and "hashed" before being transmitted across the blockchain bridge.

Because of the sensitive nature of grade synchronization, we do not store your data on traditional centralized servers (like AWS or Google Cloud). Instead, your information is distributed across a series of encrypted decentralized nodes. This ensures that even if one node is compromised, your full identity remains protected.

Once the synchronization is confirmed as "SUCCESSFUL" and the 28-day reflection period has passed, your sensitive identity verification files (video calls and ID copies) are automatically purged from our temporary caching layers using a multi-pass secure erase algorithm.

4. International Data Transfers

WaecUpgrade is a global platform. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. However, we have taken appropriate safeguards to require that your personal information will remain protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This includes the use of encrypted tunneling and decentralized storage clusters.

5. Third-Party Sharing & Legal Compulsion

WaecUpgrade does not cooperate with regional educational bodies or law enforcement agencies except in cases where a "Network Breach" or "Protocol Abuse" has been detected from your specific node.

However, you must be aware that because the synchronization process involves direct database interaction, educational bodies may detect the handshake and attempt to trace its origin using advanced network forensics. WaecUpgrade uses advanced proxy-hopping and traffic obfuscation to protect your privacy, but we cannot guarantee 100% immunity from institutional detection. As stated in our Terms and Conditions, you assume all risk regarding the visibility of these actions.

6. Your Rights: The "Memory Wipe" Request

Users have the right to request a "Memory Wipe" of their application data at any time BEFORE the synchronization handshake has been authorized. Once the handshake has been initiated and funds have been committed to the mining queue, your data is "etched" into the blockchain transaction log and cannot be deleted until the synchronization cycle is complete.

To request a Memory Wipe before authorization, you must submit a request through your secure dashboard using your private sync key.

7. Data Retention

We retain basic transaction metadata (Order ID, Timestamp, and Outcome) for a period of five years to comply with decentralized audit requirements. This metadata does not include your sensitive identity documents or specific grade values once the synchronization cycle is finalized.

8. Changes to this Privacy Protocol

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy as encryption standards evolve and as regional database firewalls change. We recommend checking this page every 48 hours during your active synchronization window. Significant changes will be announced via the "Network Status" channel on our platform.
